Signing your union membership card means you’ll get to vote on our contract, vote in union elections and have a say in how our union works. No one pays any dues until after we ratify a contract – and initiation fees are waived because we’re a new bargaining unit. As a union member, you’ll be supporting the work of our union, including negotiating and enforcing our contract, education for union members, technical and legal expertise and activities that will help build our Local Union.
